For the first time, the Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption becomes the canvas for a breathtaking 360° video mapping experience, paired with live choral music and a moving historical narrative. Dive into four mesmerizing acts that reveal the story of the city and its iconic basilica:

Act I: The Vision of a New Identity — The dream of uniting Nice with France and the birth of a neo-Gothic marvel.
Act II: Building Through the Storms — Construction through earthquakes and upheavals, and the rise of a new culture.

Did You Know?

LUMINISCENCE was created by LOTCHI in 2023 and has already reached over 300,000 spectators in cities like Paris, Lille, and Bordeaux. A portion of ticket sales directly supports French heritage preservation, with over €400,000 donated to monument restoration so far.



Getting to Nice

If you are based in Nice, just walk, take the tram or bus to reach the Massena square.
If you are coming from other coastal towns like Cannes, Antibes, Monaco… we do recommend to use the train and enjoy a 20min walk from the train station “Nice-Ville” to the meeting point or use the tram. A cab can also take you to the meeting point directly from wherever.
As many visitors are coming by train, here is the itinerary from the train station to the meeting point, nothing easier 😉
